hello,
well i finally got a job. i now work at starbucks and that means more bucks for me. i know i really dont need to get a job but i wanteded to be able to have some extra cash incase i went on a trip for spring break or i went to mexico with my dad, since i do want to go back soon, if not in the spring then for the summer. today was my last final but im not going to be able to go home until tuesday because i work (yay) on monday and tuesday. i have only worked 2 days so far and it hasnt really been work, its more like training. im not much of a coffee drinker, its just a job to make money and the people there are really cool. ana works there so thats cool too. i cant wait to actually start doing things. i know it's not going to be as hard as it would be if i worked at coffee bean because they make all their drinks by hand *insert footnote- I know because victor works there*. im going to be home for about a week, actually like 6 days then im going to come back here and work full time. hope all of you guys have a happy holiday, a greak winter break, and a joyous new year!

over the summer i decided that i was going to set some fun personal goals for no other reason than to learn new things. they were:
(in no particular order)
1. learn how to skateboard
2. learn how to play guitar
3. learn how to drive stick shift
4. learn how to knit

ever sonce i went home, i have been going skating like every night. we (my friends who want to learn now too) go to a part of my school that is flat and open, so its perfect for learning. i think im getting better ;) i havent fallen (knock on wood) yet, but both of my friends ate it the other day. they didnt get hurt too bad, just sore (sp?). i also brought my guitar back and i have been playing with it, i dont know how to play anything yet but i have a friend who is going to show me how to play a few songs and the basics and im going to take it from there. i also have a friend who is hopefully some day going to show me how to knit. she says its not hard, so im hoping its not. the last goal, driving stick shift, is the one i think im going to have a hard time with cause we dont have a car that is stick and people arent too eady to lend them out, it ok i'll learn someday. ive been cooking a lot lately and i like that. not only at my house but ill go over to steph's house and we just cook together. i made mexican rice the other day (with enchiladas and beans) and i did it all on my own and it came out pretty good, it wasnt exactly like my mom's...it can never be as good...but it was pretty close. i think im going to make dinner for my family when i go back home next time, or not cause they might just say "ewww" lol jp they are always happy to hear that im cookin and they love it when i volunteer to cook (especially my mom). i wish our stove was a gas stove and not electric, but oh well you work with what you have. well im going to go to sleep now, i hope you are all doing well.

well i have had a great wednesday. first if all i had GREAT dreams last night so i woke up very happy and ready to start the day. secondly my class was interesting and i was able to stay awake lol. then i went to grab a bite to eat (to go) and i ran into my friend (stephanie) and so we went up to our friends (ana) on-campus apt. and ate there. then when we(steph and me) left i was walking Steph home and this guy asked me "whats a collage" (spelling?)because i was wearing a shirt that said "college" and i thought that was funny lol. then i ran into this guy that i think is cute, and he, not I, said hi to me and we chatted it up for like 2 minutes then he skated off cause he had class. but after that i thought my day could not get any better....but it did. i went to the beach with stephanie, and she has a car, so we drove YAY! then we drove back to my place and she had an hour before she had to go to work (and she works at the mall right next to my house) so we went to BORDERS next to the mall and i bought the new USHER *special edition* CD and then i came home and took a nice cold shower, and it has been GREAT!!! GOD is good. my cousin jack is going to be comming up on friday so we are going to party it up this weekend wooty woo!!! well i hope you all have had a good day also. best wishes.

hello to all,
i dont know if i have mentioned the new book that i have been reading but it is called "conversations with God Book 3" and i love it. i recomend it to anyone. whether they be religious or not because it doesnt apply to people who are only in an organized religion. it has answered a lot of things about life for me and it can be taken as a serious full on conversation with God, or you can believe that the author wrote it himself with no inspiration from God, but hey the truth still holds that the advice and logic that the book gives in regard to certain "truths of this world" are pretty good and its not hard to believe them because they plainly and simply "make sense".
well enough about the book, if you want truth read it if not keep perceiving things the way you do and most importantly of all, with witch ever you choose...be happy.
well as for my life at the moment, things have been ok. i have been very lazy doing my school work and have often wondered if i can go on going to school for 8 more years or maybe even more. i want a job but it seems as if "the odds are against me" but i truly believe that everything happens for a reason, so im just going to keep on livin. many times in the past i have wanted to pierce my tongue but when my cousin pierced her nose i saw the effect it had on the family and i admit i got scared about doing it. but none the less i still want to and i probably will someday, the question is when will i do it...today..tomorrow....5 years from now? who knows. i want to get some feedback on this so please comment. my number one reason for not doing it is my parents. i feel that they will look at me differently and judge me for doing it. i recently read this, "when i want for you what you want for you then i will truly love you, but when i want for you what i want for you then i am only loving myself through you". i feel that my parents love me because i have made the choices THEY have wanted me to make thus far, but they have not "wanted for me what i want for me" and some may see the tongue ring as being rebellious and to tell you the truth...it is. but whats wrong with that? if there were never rebellions things would not be as they are now. people find who they are with no limits when they rebel from the limits. what limits do i have you ask? well i have a limit put on me that is this...i can not be me for fear of what "others may think". my parents care too much about what their moms and dads will say about them as parents or about us as their kids. but i am sick and tired of always behaving and being the "good" kid. i dont want to live scared of what others think and in doing so missing out on fun experiences. maybe i will regret things but hey no one can escape that.

last night was very fun but sad at the same time. the night started out very energized because my roomie and i and my friends were goin to go to a "pimp and hoes" party that was on campus. me and trina dressed up like hoes, but i was a mild hoe and katrina went all out with fish nets and all. by the time we got to the party i was tipsy. the thing that ruined the night for me was that as soon as we walk into the crowded room, ana disappears and i look over to the other side of the room and she is freaking the guy that i like, and she knows i like him. i didnt say anything cause some might say "it was just dancing" and we arent going out or anything, but still. the thing that bothered me was that ana has been my "friend" for a while and she always hits on the guys she knows her friends like and i think thats pretty shady. so then when she comes back to where we are. i said "hey girl, where have you been?" and the hoe says "oh, i was getting a drink". she acted like she hadnt even been over there with him. i left and went to the roof all alone. i hate being so alone. and i noticed that just when i am happy i get a slap in the face that wakes me up and lets me know im still alone. then i went back down to her house and tried to fall asleep. then val (ana's roomie) comes in and says "where is ana?". so we get up and look for her and she is in his apartment! so we go get her and she acts sooooo fake the whole night. i hate that, i hate when people act fake!!! well today is a new day, and i have a lot of homework ahead of me.

i dunno, lately i have been feelin very weird. and i think it is due to many reasons.
1.) my love life, or lack of.
2.) my roomies who have good lives and complain.
3.) no job (working on it though)
4.) i wanna get involved in school, and the community but i dont get off my ass and do anything.
5.) people in my family dont realize that hurting themselves also hurts others...and if they do realize it then they hurt others on purpose.
6.) i dont like to complain and i find myself doing it

so now im going to help myself out and list the good things in my life. (this may sound corny but it is my journal so you can stop reading, but i am doing this for me)
1.) i have the support of my parents lo live on my own in san fran.
2.) i am alive
3.) i have many people who love me
4.) i dont have to work to survive.
5.) i have the resoures to go to school.
6.) i have a life to complain about.

well yesterday was a very interesting day. i went on a blind double date. (who ever reads this e.i. jr, jackie, victor or any family member, you cannot tell my parents about this entry). me and katrina, the roomie, went on a double date and the guy that was supposed to be my date was 26 years old. thats not too old but im just not used to being with guys that much older than me. it was a fun night, he was a nice guy, but i was just not feelin it. i didnt feel any chemistry. he was nice and he seemed like a very hard worker because he had a bad life so he had to raise himself but i was just not attracted to him in any way. he kept holding my hand and rubbing my finger and i felt nothing. we had dinner at Hard Rock Cafe on peir 39 then went on a virtutal dinasour ride (sucked) and then we came back to my place but i was like, "yeah im gonna go to sleep now" so we basically didnt let him hang out after the date. then me, katrina, and our friend Trevor (age22) went to go buy some liquor and we all got drunk. i think trevor is so cute but katrina likes him so she is trying to get at him, plus i dont think he would ever go for me, hes too cute. anyways...later on in the night his brother and cousin came over and they were so fun. they had just left a gay birthday party (but they were straight) and they were drunk too. it was a fun night, jus a bunch of drunk college students...good times. i hope everybody is doing ok and may you have a wonderful day.

life has been very crazy lately. i moved in to my new apartment and school has started. i have 3 new roomies. sasha is the one that lives with me (she's white) ans she is hardly ever home. she is always at work, school or with her new boyfriend. she has hardly ever been through life without a boyfriend so as soon as she moves up here she had to get one. my other white roomie is katrina. she's cool. she used to be a cutter but quit on her own and hasnt done it for 2 years. she has been through a lot on her life so i can see how she used to cut. she is the one that i feel the closest to. we are always hanging out, well we used to hang out more, she got a job now though so shes always at work. my other roomie is philippina. she is so quiete and she also has a boyfriend so she is never home. i feel like i dont know her, but hey ya never know it may be better that way, right? i have been hanging out with my old roomie, ana maria, a lot lately. she lives on campus so its cool to hang out at her house. her roomies are cool too.
the other day i was wearing a shirt that said "MEXICO" on it and a guy from the 2nd story of ana's building yelled out at us "yeah, go mexico" and i was like "oh yeah" and then i read that his shirt said, "oxnard college baseball" and i was like "your from oxnard?" then he said "Representin'!!" then proceeded to ask me if i was from oxnard and i said "8-0-5 woot woot!!" then he invited me and ana up to "chat" about being from oxnard. he was so cute. his name is angel farias and he went to rio mesa and we talked for a long time, jus me and him cause ana was on the phone the whole time. i think hes cute but i'm not going to get all excited because i always do then i realize that i dont even have a chance, im just gonna let things happen.
i think im going to change my major to psycology .
i think i saw marissa from UB and i kinda got worried because i remeber how mean she was to me that one time and she can act very fake at time too. i e-mailed her to see if it was her and something in me hopes that it wasnt her. i might sound messed up but hey, its my journal and im writing how i feel so :P hehehe.
so today is friday and there is a frat party but i dunno if we are going to go. we went to one last friday but it wasnt too good.
on another note* i have been having marvelous dreams YAY! i love good dreams. well i hope all is well with ya'll thanks for caring enough to read this far, luv ya all.

This weekend has been sooo much fun. i have gone clubbin everyday since thursday. now my weekends start on thursday lol. the only reason we went to a club on thursday was becuase dominique has a gay friend and he invited us to a gay club. it was fun becuase i wasnt nervous or self-concious cause all the guys were with guys and i was with dominique so all thee girls thought i was with her lol. then we went to the same place on friday but its a different club on fridays (straight). we went with sal and ana. it was fun cause me, dominique and ana were kind of tipsy but sal wasnt so he wanted to leave early, so we did. then yesterday was the best of all three days. we went to city nights and Mako brought her roomate and a lot of drinks and we all got drunk except for mako, she dranl but didnt get drunk. (shes the driver) i danced soooo much cause i didnt even care, that what i like about drinking, that i dont care about anything so i feel very relaxed. i danced with this guy named Jesus, and he was soo cute. we danced like almost the whole night but then i had to go to the restroom with dominique and we found Mako's roomate and she was soooo drunk that the security guard had her and we had to leave cause she was getting out of hand. then we went to mako's house and didnt leave til 4 in da mornin. today im just goin to relax and practice for my speech that i might have to give on monday. talk ta ya'll later.

i am in oxnard now, i have been for the past week and i am going back to san fran on sunday with sal. the ride here was kind of boring cause sal's cousin came and i sat in the back so i didnt really hear what they said or anything so i fell asleep, then a little while after sal's cousin fell asleep too. we did get here fast though so thats good. we were supposed to go on a cruise, at least thats what my mom had told me like in february but when i got here she said that we werent afterall. then the second thing she said was that we might go to balboa island, but then she said "no" we werent going to do that either. then she said that we could go to six flags but i dont know if that is going to happen either, oh well. that always happens, especially now that my mom and dad work a lot more. she always ,makes promises and says we will do things but something (work) always comes up. oh well at least i should be glad that it means my dad(the business) is doing well, i should worry when they dont have work. hehehe. even though i havent done anything exciting or interesting, i have had a blast hangin out with my family. we always seem to laugh when we get together. all we have to do is have food and we are fine, lol. i know thats sad huh. everytime we sit down to eat dinner we end up laughin and havin a blast. well, thats all for now, bubye.

HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY!!!!
today was pretty smooth. i went to class and all that jazz, then i went with anamaria to the library for like 3 hours. it sounds like alot but it went by fast. i have never gone to this library just to study, but i got a lot done. then after that we went to the student center and ate a FAT BURRITO. LOL. it was yummy. now i am home alone but its cool cuz that hardly ever happens. well thats it for now, hope ya had a tip top st patricks day.

on wednesday, sal,me and domique went to the beach with her friend mako. it was such a nice day that we all decided to go and it was fun. then later that night at around 11 mako came over to our house and sal was here cause we were all "studying" (or trying to) for statistics cause me and domino (dominque) had a quiz the next day. they all wanted to go over to mako's house and drink but i didnt want to because i knew i would be too sleepy the next day to take a quiz, but they used peer pressure and convinced me to go. i didn't drink ( a lot ;) but sal and domino did. we ended up comming back around 2 and went to bed around 3. sal was too drunk to drive so i drove, YAY!!! i felt sooo good driving. i like the way his car felt. anyways, i ended up waking up on time and going to math with domino to take our quiz. i think i did ok, but since we sit in the back me and domino cheated and helped eachother out, hey what are friends for, hehehe. oooh yeah, i talked to my cutie, zack today. it was wonderful :) we might go bowling today but i dunno yet. well talk to ya'll later, have a good weekend! luv ya'll lots.

Well yesterday me, ana, sal and his cuz went to a frat party. i hadnt been to one in a long time and i really didnt fell like going but they made me, but im glad i did cause i had fun. i did drink and i was getting all tipsy but i was still aware of what was going on. i danced and had a great time. i met this black guy who was really cool. and since ana knows almost all the frat bros they were all cool to me. i think i would go again, just cause i was so relaxed and i didnt feel self-concisous about myself or anything negative. we went to bed like at 5 in da mornin and i had that song in my head, "everybody in da club gettin tipsy!!!" lol. today i woke up like at 12, took a shower, ate breakfast, and wahsed clothes. now im gonna go out to dinner with monica, shorty, and sal. so das about all. luv ya'll lots.

OMG it was raining sooo hard today. the winds were at 25-30 mph!!!! i had three classes today but the first one was canceled and so was my last one, so i only ended up going to one class. it was cool but the only reason i went to class in the first place was because i thought we were going to have a test and i didnt want to miss it, but the one class that i did go to, we ended up not taking the quiz because nobody was there!!! oh well. so now im home alone and i thought i would update my journal. i hope it stops raining, so that me, nicole and dominque ( my roomates) can go over to drew's ( nicoles friend, who is on the basketball team) because i want to finally meet zack ( my love interest) and talk and hang out with him. if we cant go cause of the rain i will be so bummed, but we'll see. on a new topic, i have been trying to drink a gallon of water a day. ive been doing it for like 3 days today. its going ok, but i have to pee sooo much. well thats all for now. luv ya'll lots!

Well I have been going to a lot of out school’s home basketball games. There is this guy on the team and his name is Zackory Johnson but, I like to call him Zack. I think he is soo cute. He is a freshman and he is the shortest one on the team but, he is still taller than me. He is 5’9. he doesn’t know that I like him but, my roomie Nicole is trying to hook us up. But first we are getting all of his info to see if he is available and what kind of person he is. So far he seems like a really kick-back, cool person. Just how I like ‘em. Lol. his friend Oscar is giving us all his info and he said that he isn’t into looks, so I think we might have a chance, since he wont care that I’m ugly. And if it doesn’t work out, them oh well, I’ll go back to the drawing board, lol. So that’s all for now.
